    The faded M40 in the middle is a Carl Halfar 1941 with removed soutache.

      Can you please post a pic of the Halfar stamp in the thread on the DAK halfar sidecap for comparison. Thanx. Jacques

        NCO sent this to me Jacques. I wouldn't have guessed the cap as being a Halfar from the previous pic. It is just one very sunfaded cap and a very nice shape. I don't have a Halfar in the collection but would like to find one.

            Panzerarmeeafrika Kalender 1943, very salty

            Hi all,
            This arrived in the post today, an item I have long been after. It's in very salty condition, with the map and some pages missing, it's water stained and the spine is battered, but I'm still very happy with it. It has a name inside the front cover, which I cant really read, though looks like it might end in ...berg, though little more than a guess and not a lot of use.

            I suppose this is not strictly DAK, but I figure it has the same appeal, it does to me.
