Wonderful wrap, its hard not to repeat everything that has already been said...but I will try. It has exactly every feature I look for in original wraps. Scott Hess also pointed out something I see but never mention...is how the tab horizontal edges sometimes curve in slightly. I have seen that on a number of SS wraps, but haven't yet noticed it on a fake. It is one of those things that some might not think would be cool on an original piece, but some tabs are just shaped that way. I have a tab on a black SS wrap like that.

All the paperwork just makes it that much more enjoyable. I have never seen the little pillow medal setup before. Isn't that a funeral item? I have only seen them in photos, and I did not know they had loops on them. Was this a wartime item, or was this used in the future for his funeral after the war, or was it just a souvenir item...if you happen to know? Super congratulations!!

    Richard

                            Rob,

Nice to see this grouping again.
                            And congrats to you.

I remember seeing this grouping in Oktober '09 when my friend ( the privious owner ) send me pictures in my mailbox.
                            I was blown away.

After all the crap that has been posted of late and the bickering over the why's and wherefore's of fakes and fantasy items this grouping is like the sun rising on a beautifull fresh spring morning.

Thank you VERY much for sharing this fantastic group
