What an incredible grouping, congratulations and please don't ever let anyone ever split it up.

Interestingly I have got a grouping within which is a Silver Besitzzeugnis award document issued to an Oberscharfuhrer in Stab / SS Aufklarungs-Abteilung 5 also dated the 1st May 1943 and signed by the same hand. They would have been in the pile together that day. (I couldn't post the picture on this thread though!)

He has 33 Nahkampftäge so enough to win the clasp in silver, just that probably the citation was either lost or never delivered, nothing to detract this wonderfull group.

This is a wonderfull group to research and if it comes from the family I hope something more will surface.....
