I noticed the 6/525 marking in the inside of the Wrap.

The StuG-Abt of the Wiking was numbered 5, not 525.

The only Schnelle Truppe unit that comes to my mind with that number is a s.Pz.Jag. Abt. (Hornissen)...

Maybe the 6. Batterie of a unit 525 was used to form the SS-StuG-Abt 5 of the Wiking Div, but i'm not so sure.

He served in the Aufklärungsabteilung, which had 5 companies + staff, so the number is not a unit number.

Here is the wrap on a mannequin .
Its almost impossible to get the same angle , I have better things do to then crawl around a mannequin with a camera , so this will be my last picture of the wrap.
the CCC is hanging down because of its weight .

Anyway , I am happy with it , did NOT buy it as a group , and paid half of the offers that I have got till now , so NO I did not overpay it.

And you will understand that I wonder why I even would post a thing like this .

Here is a page in the SB , where you can see he was allmost all of '44 in the Lazaret .
That itself doesnt mean anything , as it was very common for them to have more then one uniforms , just as Knight's Cross winners would have more then one Knight's Cross .

here you see that he got his 3th wound in May '44 , so he was in the Lazaret before that also .
You see the date March '43 .

I am trough now with posting photo's on this thread , the only reason I posted this , is because I was asked by other members to post the wrap on a mannequin .

I paid half of the value , it was not sold as a group to me , and I am verry happy with it .

I would like to thank all the guys that sent me pm's and gave me support here .
