Because of those "criminals" your Poland did not disappear from the world map.

Poland DID disappear from the maps of global significance for more than 40 years as it was absorbed by the lovely soviet system, just like many other eastern european countries plus today's eastern part of germany!! Yes, it was named "poland" but that was just a faked label it never was free during that time so it doesn't matter how you call it.
