Unbelievable how many jackets ,smocks etc were ruined actually...

This is just a small collection of what really is among collectors..

My conclusion : don't give a American GI a pair of scissors when he goes to war... ,he can't deal with it..........

Hey Jos, it wasn't scissors...it's all those knives that GIs loved to carry. Some 101st troopers carried 3 or 4 on them......most had at least 2. You can see how many pieces of cut insignia where crudely cut.

Very nice eagles Bob and Terry! I've not had much time for reading the Forum lately and it's good catching up on this thread and viewing your eagles.

Here is a bullion eagle for Johnny, he was asking about 1st and 2nd pattern bullion eagles on the Fj Forum. Johnny, IMHO this is a second pattern eagle
