GI has been trying to sell that piece a good while now, but its a cushion cover, not that interesting to most I suspect.

Also as far as I'm aware only 4 Wikinger tapestries exist in collections. One in a German collection and has been there for many years, this vertical repeat I just bought from a family in Germany who had a mix of cultural items including a Julleuchter and Weitzel book, all of which have never been in a collections and then the two Wikinger in horizontal repeat, one of which I show above. Both the horizontal repeat patterns came off a flea market last year and went to a German dealer.
Ah. I never frequent that site so I only just saw it today after seeing yours.

Nice figure Eric.. He looks a little sad, maybe he needs an Uta to go with him

Thanks Steve, it's one of my favorite pieces considering that it cost a lot less than my Allach fiqures.

Yes but she always wanted Mr. Rider, that guy she's with now is not the most handsome fellow.

Well, the dream couple you are refering to ought to be already on the way to you so please share when you unpack them.

No, not me, I didn't buy a dream couple. I have Uta, but I'm not sharing her.

Tree of Life with the tree missing Pity about the missing part as its a nice Meldorfer tapestry, the type of thing you could buy in the DHW shops, private furniture/decor retailing shops and probably direct from the weavers too.

Here is a nice photo of Wirth in the field that has been buried in a Swedish library not to far from where it was taken back in 1936. They have quite a lot of pictures and notes from Ahnenerbes visit.
