              Hi Bill

I was certainly off the mark iding those cars. Thanks for the ID of the others. Still trying to find a pic of the bus.

              Cheers

                Hi Larry:

                Just keeping up here.
Regarding the bus, I think it is German, possibly an Opel or a Ford, based on the size. Always a problem with these coachbuilt units, as they often had special grilles made for a very small series of chassis.

It is also difficult, in that I cannot tell if the cooling slats in the side of the bonnet are actually cooling slats or if the whole thing has been removed.

The registration plate can be German civilian or maybe even Austrian, which would open up a few other possibilities.

I will continue to research the vehicle.
                Cheers

                  Hi Larry:
I am just on my way to the store, but looked around a bit at my stuff.
Nothing conclusive yet but if you have any info on Steyr vehicles, take a look. I googled the brand and came up with nothing but found a photo or two in a quick look through of my stuff that are making me lean in that direction. I am talking about the bus here.
                  Cheers

                    Hi Bill

Unfortunately I have very little reference material on Steyr motor vehicles.

Found an interesting site that you probably use but will post it here for those who do not know it.

                        Hi Bill

Thanks for the pic of the buessing bus. It is a pretty close match, especially the shape of the grille and windscreens.

The photos I posted of the bus and other cars are from an album which is on its way to me. I will do better scans when they arrive.

This is post 1000 for me as well.

                        Cheers

                          Hi Bill

A couple of pics of confiscated vehicles.

First one showing two Mercedes-Benz 170 Kabrio-Limousines and an unknown truck.

                              Hi Larry:
                              Nice shots!!

In your first, the other vehicle is either a Bedford 15 cwt or a Morris 15 cwt.
I often have trouble identifying them when I cannot see the front end.

The GS bodies are identical as are the general dimensions, tyre size etc.

In the second photo, I see a Citroen, ??, Citroen, Opel, Benz and then just??

                              Here is a Bedford

And a Morris. Both ex-eBay.de from a ways back.
Oh, and a Renault in the first photo also.
