On this thread, your image 213, I think we skipped that one.
The cabriolet on the left is a BMW and the sedan on the right is a Cadillac of about 1936.

Also, I cannot find it now, but you posted a photo of a "Skoda" Aero.
Aero was a separate company as I understand it and not associated with Skoda.
Found it, on Axis History Forum Luftwaffe vehicles.

Battle damaged Ford truck.

Is this some sort of confiscated vehicle ? What is its name and origin ?

Hi Jens,

You're right about the truck that it is confiscated. It is an Chevrolet 8441/C30 witch was supplied to Britain in 1941. They received 1500 of them. The Canadian Forces in the UK received 2000 similar trucks at the same time.
These trucks were build at the GM plant in Oshawa, Canada.
The trucks were also build by Ford, but you can easely recognise them by the type of axles.
Ford had split-type axles build by Timken and Chevrolet used his own Banjo axles.

Yes Patrick. As far as I remember without going to the reference book, A was for the passenger car and light truck, AA was for the 4X2 medium truck and AAA was for the medium 6X4 truck. There were, of course, also busses, fire appliances etc. based on the same chassis and used as far as I know the same letter designations.
