this is the holly truth. Erich and Herbert was the part of the crew of PzIII 5./15PR/11PD lost near Berditschew. The man who standing near the grabs is Adolf Sermond, his last CO, who survive the war.
One of the last pics of this crew together:

awesome photo!
Gerdan, as usual...thank you for your time. So I'm assuming it is not probable that Noelle served with Panzer Regiment 11.....
Isnt it terrible that we as collectors have photos of these brave men's graves, and yet they are still considered missing? Very sad. I wonder if people's photos have helped locate a missing grave before?
These are also supposedly Panzer Regiment 11 related graves

Uffz. Heinrich Menze I could not find in the Volksbund list but I found Heinrich Leibrecht. His grave you can see left in the back.
Heinrich Leibrecht
Heinrich Leibrecht ruht auf der Kriegsgräberstätte/war cemetery Smolensk-Nishnjaja Dubrowinka.
Nachname:Leibrecht
Vorname:Heinrich
Dienstgrad:Gefreiter
Geburtsdatum:18.07.1910
Geburtsortirlewang
Todes-/Vermisstendatum:14.02.1942
Todes-/Vermisstenort: Krgslaz. 1/581 Smolensk
So it seems that you have a photo from the cemetery close to the Kriegslazarett 1/581 near Smolensk.
