                              Brian,

                              I suppose some stayed and many immigrated after returning back to the ruins of Germany. I suppose each respective Government would have such information in their immigration files. Willi posted a story about a German POW who had escaped an American run POW camp and was never captured but turned himself in way after the war had ended. Bill

                                I knew a couple of Luftwaffe POW's, Josef Buerschgens of JG 26 and Ekkehard Priebe of JG 77 who were held in Canada and immigrated later in life.
