            I remember seeing that slide on eBay recently! Here is another one for sale there now that looks like the same tank!

              funny you could be right... the 2 slides come from different collections but both sellers are from bavarian and the bavarian photo collectors split up and swap stuff every day.. so hay.. it might actually be that they both originated from the same photographer...
              But the bottom slide was sold on ebay for... 70 euros and now the new seller is trying his luck with 600... haha.. nope..

                      US Landing Craft filled with American soldiers during Okinawa Invasion April 1st, 1945. Battle of Okinawa
                      I'm not 100% sure, but I think that this is the 7th Division landing area. That would be Purple or Orange beaches just off Kadena Airbase. I've been there, but the area has significantly changed with development.
