Thanks again, Gerdan - by 'Lettland', do we mean Latvia?

exactly, "Lettland" is the German name for Latvia. Sorry I should have translated it also.

Hello! I would like some help with this entry. As you can see, it is a continuation of the Gewehr (rifle) issued section of a Soldbuch. Does it say Zielfernrohr? I don't want to jump ahead of myself... But that is the only thing I can make of it.

I agree with you and I also identify the entry as "Zielfernrohr" - telescopic sight.

Your help with this will be much appreciated.

                                Thank you,

                                Maybe:

As already mentioned it is a ticket for a some kind of performance.

The first line of the stamp on the ticket could be:

                                "Österreichische Kinderfreunde"

                                http://www.kinderfreunde.at/Ueber-un...-Kinderfreunde

This society was founded in 1908. In 1934 it was banned and refounded in 1945. It still exists. It is a social democratic youth organisation.

For the second line I need a better picture resp. scan of the ticket.

So the ticket must be from post WW2 period or very unlikely before 1934.

                                Regards
                                Guenter
