Heeres-Verordnungsblatt Notations & Photo for ID

A WWII grouping which I just acquired also contains a WWI medal bar; WWI Wound Badge and a "Member" level armband of the Reichskriegerbund (NSRKB - 1938-45) Veteran Organization...and also a copy of the document shown here.

As the WWII items belong to a man born in 1921 (family name: Knips), it is my assumption that the WWI items and RKB armband might have belonged to his father.

    1. While I understand the text of the Heeres-Verordnungsblatt, I am wondering if the hand-written notes at the bottom numbered 1 & 2 might contain a clue as to my above-referenced assumption. I would be grateful for a translation of those two notations, insofar as might be possible, please.

    2. As well, a separate small photo of the soldier Knips shows him in a uniform which I am hoping can be identified. He appears to be wearing a type of slip-knot/toggle around his necktie. Could this be of the Hitler Jugend? His Wehrpass does contain entries confirming his qualification for the HJ Leistungsabzeichen; HJ Shiessabzeichen and HJ Reichsschwimmschein.

    Thanks and regards,

    John

That's a nice drive, it's the higher side of the Mosel River. On the other side of the Hunsrueck is the Eifel. Beautiful area.

The photo does appear to show a HJ uniform based on the toggle, pointed shoulder strap (with pip on left in image) and the cross strap. Sorry, can't make out the abbreviations written at the bottom.

This is a Obermaat with a Blockadebrecher. I think I was able to correctly get some of this right....However, I nearly always have something wrong.

Great appreciation for anyone for providing the complete deciphering of the handwriting.

                              Thanks so much!
