        Hi,

        Can anyone translate the writing on the back of this photo? The photo depicts Imperial German soldiers. I think the woman in the photo is actually a man. His hands and marching boots give him away. It is an interesting photo.

                  Thanks Speedytop and Pauke. Now we know this photo was taken a little over a month after the war ended at the Prince Rupprecht Hotel in Bad Bruckenau, Bavaria. These men hardly look like defeated soldiers. I guess they were just happy the war was over.
