There doesn't seem to be much of anything exciting to say about his service. He was only two months younger than Hitler and also tall at 1.80 meters. No mention of why the KVK 1st Class was awarded. The two other docs are a call up to report in Muenster to a SHD motorized unit and the second one states he must immediately report to the San(itaets) Zug I in Hamm as he was transferred. The fellow writing the letter thanked him saying his service will be missed. He was also promoted twice to Hauptgruppenfuehrer (Jan. 1941) and Stabsgruppenfuehrer (Dec. 1942).

I once again in doubt with this Wehrpass of a driver died near Lucca in North Toskana:

                  his job and the "nachtrage".

and then on the meaning of "während einer Einsatzfahrt durch bomben Überfall gefallen"...... it means a terrorist attack (as I believe) or an air strike? thank you!

This is a sports achievement certificate awarded in 1937 for the county championship in Stendal for running 400 meters in 56 seconds.
