      … or „Kradfahrer“ = motorcyclist

I think the listed clothes here are especially for motorbikers than for a car or truck driver.
      Isn´t it so, Gerdan?

"gef." I would prefer to read "gefüttert" (better German expression) - "lined" as Guy mantioned

        "ungef." - "ungefüttert" - unlined

And I agree with Reino - "Kradfahrer". This list seems to be made in this case for motorcyclists.

Gerdan .... I would not dare to correct a native-speaker!!!

Thank you for telling me the better German expression.

It states he was killed on a sortie and is buried in a military graveyard (row and plot are given).

The city cemetery ("Städt. Friedhof") where he is burried is in Udine / Italy, row 2, grave 8.

                      Hello everyone.

I have a photo album of the battleship Schleswig Holstein.

Now there's a photo in the album with text on the back.

Can someone translate this for me.

                      Thanks in advance.

?. ?. unter der Holtenauer Hochbruecke.
                        Meiner lieben Annemarie
                        zum Andenken.

?? under the high Holtenau bridge. To my dear Annemarie in rememberance is what I read. The ship itself looks like a 1900-era type with the smaller gun turrets along the sides.

Is it possible to enlarge the detail of the coat-of-arms displayed on the bow as well as the possible name of the ship on the dark strip directly below the tall mast (at deck level)?

I need help with four Wehrpas translations. All relate to a sailor training to be a U-boat radioman.

                              Thanks as always.

                                The missing words: 1. --abwehr--
                                2.--horchlhg (lehrgang)
                                3.--nachrichten--
4.-----------lehrgang. Not certain of the first part of this.

                                That is what I read.
