Exactly the German word name "Ratte" I can not identify but it could be someting like "Rattov" or so. But we can be sure that the writer means the Russian Polikarpov a/c.

Can somebody help with the last entries on this page? I know the first is EK2 and the second is Ost front. The others look communications oriented (belongs to a Luftwaffe Funker).

                  Cheers.

                          Hello Gerdan, or anyone else,

I have tried myself using the german "letters guide" you posted for me......but I am completely lost on this one. If you could give it a try for German to English, I would be very grateful. Even if you can only translate in German, it would be a huge help. It looks like it was written pretty poorly though. Thank you my friend.

Here is the "whole" reverse. It is also signed on the front from who I believe to be the panzermann himself. I cannot make out the name though either. Thanks Gerdan
