Marco, That isn't a tactical symbol but a unit sign which I'm afraid that I can't identify. Is it even German ? I think it is more likely to be Italian as the vehicle is the Italian copy of the Daimler Dingo called the Lynx.

Ive had this photo for a long time. It is a Panzerpahwagen with what looks to be a skull inside a rectangle/square. Anyone have a guess? The details of the unit marking isnt good at all. But the license plate #s are 9022886 or 9022006.
It looks like there could be 2 or 3 letters before the numbers that I cannot make out. Thanks

ANY HELP IDing would be great. Note the 37 on the other truck too. Any idea on the Panzer IIIs unit in relation to the motorized units??

Hi there,
is there anyone who can help me on finding out this tactical or unit symbol?
The pictures has been taken in Tripolis, Africa on 30.5.1942. It is definitely a Luftwaffe FLAK unit. The symbol is on the sidecar of an BMW R75.
The home unit was the Flak Abteilung 151 Augsburg.
The Afrikakorps unit should have been the Flak Regiment 135. One of the soldiers served with TRANSPORTKOLONNE der Luftwaffe 23/IV.
Even if this symbol is Transportkolonne 23/IV I would be very interested how it would look like. It is very hard to see on the photo and we need it to paint on a car.
Many thanks for your help!
