I think, somebody is missing on the list!

Dear friends!

Frist of all, I want to tell you something about me:
My name is Siegbert, i am 60 years old and i am from Germany. I am interested in the Wehrmacht, specialy in the Knightcross holder since i was a child. A few weeks ago my son gave me a Computer and some days after that, i found this side and i have to say: Its a very good site!

Well, i had a look on the list and i think that somebody is missing: Walther Gerhold. I am not quiet sure, but as far as i know, he is still alive. I searched a bit and found some sites and there is nothing said about his death too.

As a colctor i learned to share things, so i will share the following information with you.
In Febuary i wrote Mr. Gerhold and some days later he aswerd my letter and told me, that he don't gives autographcars anymore
I don't know, maybe he had a bad day, understud me wrong or just didn't like my letter...

Sadly he will be missed and and fine man he was.

Hello Dennis!

Well, I wrote Mr. Hardegen some month ago. No answer. But in another Forum (I can not remember wich it was) a Guy post a picture of Mr. Hardegen, wich was signed one or two weeks ago. So I think he is alive and well!
