Hi,
nice pics!
A vet friend send me some picture of him taken in Italia (Rome), they are all in Black shirt,he explain me they took the shirt in Italian barracks...he was in FJR2.

Thanks for posting them, Bill. They seem to wear Italian "camiccie nere". I can recall seeing some photos belonging to a member of FJR2, deployed in Italy during 1943, doing the same in such funny poses...

The Black Shirts Look Great

Being black's my favourite colour,these FJ look real good in them for shure,but this would have been non regulation wouldnt it have?,so there comander didnt mind them wearing these shirts(maybe he had some himself too),and with there blue uniforms i wonder how they would have looked?.But then FJ did what they liked didnt they as herman goring would let them do this maybe and get them what they needed being his elite troops.
