Unfortunately one of the six photos escaped us both.
A FJ friend of Marco and I... Willi Fretz who volunteered and fought at Monte Cassino also did not go through jump training. Shortages caused by combat losses created this situation.
Very typical that Model 35/40/42 helmets were worn by late war Fj's. Interesting features in your third photo on the non jump helmets is the camo on at least three or four of the helmets and one of the FJ is wearing a four pocket tunic instead of a flieger blouse.
