    SAS Beret 44 dated?????

I bet the seller is wondering why this is not reaching 1k

Nice try but no good postwar badge and beret despite the date, the beret is also far from looking as ww2. By the way in 1944 the sas had to adopt the maroon airborne forces beret although some old hands refused and kept wearing beige like Paddy.Cheers JB

The seller had offers from all over the world ( and is still getting them ! )
It sold for a very fair price, but I won't disclose it here.

Oh....and, no, I'm not the buyer.

I assume well over the 1000 GBP bid he cancelled.

I saw it had gone up to £900ish but would have gone more I'm sure, esp if the names had checked out.
              Stoneleigh anyone?

Well I offered the seller more than he sold it for. I think the seller rushed into a deal and now regrets it. Items usually find their level on eBay.
