The uniform is a later Waffen SS pattern 5 button 2 hole suspension M43 in enlisted quality combat wool
(for officer field use) upgraded with officer quality bullion insignia!
(arm band I believe is real! Note Waffen-SS unit stamp)

I know, many peaple ask me but few goes ahead : I am a hobbyist, not a professional. That means I produced maximum 4-5 pieces a year! I need 10 weeks to make a fieltunic as I work only few hours in the week end on it.

I do Breeches for officiers and Rinding troop pants.
I do also all the imperial fielgray stuff but not Hussard tunics because I have not yet found the bloddy light gray soutache...

Any clue if they do east german models?

Might seem a bit 'pointless' 'but I think they had great uniforms and camo scheme's etc.

As you can see, I don't go for any rank special rank/awards, just what i'd assume somebody of my age and background would be wearing late in the war (albeit i'm not French).

I think I may change the Charlemagne insignia though.
