One of my greatest purchases this year. This is a photo album that was put together in the 1980s and then auctioned off in the early 1990s. It is named to a soldier who served with Sonderverband 288! There are around 114 photos and the patch is his actual patch. Cool to see that the family or soldier tried to denazify it after the war. I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to take care of this album for the next several decades. Thanks to Andy (tropenmilitaria) for allowing me the opportunity to acquire such an awesome album! Matt

The album has pics from his time a HJ and in training before going to Afrika and what not. Here is a nice one at El Alamine. Believe the photo album was narrated by the soldier as most pics have a label about where they were taken at and what not.Comment
