Some very nice items Chris,
John (grndevil44) I just love that Luft Tropical tunic. Not my area as I only collect Heer but very nice indeed.
Phil,
I knew it wouldn't take long for the thread to be stripped of pics as the collector who owns them tends to do this quite often. There are a few other tropical threads which have suffered the same fate over the years.
A real shame.

Any DAK items?
Hi everyone!
Sure is a great thread. Pity about the missing photos though. But I also recognize that collector's contribution to this site. And I thank him for having posted pictures of his amazing collection AND sharing his knowledge & time with us.
Perhaps he will repost his photos and again share with us?
Jimbo.

John, Chris -
Really nice photos. Chris - good to see you are getting a collection together and showing it. I know how much interest you have in tropical items, with a genuine passion for it. What markings are on those breeches? I like the smooth drill pattern.
John - Wonderful Luftwaffe tunic - any chance of more photos of it and the shirt? Are the buttons dished metal on the shirt? It'd be great to see more Luftwaffe items on display?
John H. - creme de la creme! Looking forward to the book.

Hi John,
Noted that in the photo of the tunic. I assumed it was the 'sharpness' of detail jumping out due to direct sunlight photography? Worthy of more study!
Nice 'jerry'can John - the paint almost has an ochre tint. Any more photos of it?
Here's a nice set of Hensoldt made Zf14S. Green factory paint under the sloppy tan overpint. This one was attached to an APC or armoured car.

Hello, here are more pics of the two stampings and close up of the eagle. The buttons are all marked A&S 42. Hard to make out the size stamps and the full maker mark. There are several thin worn loops left breast. Straps with army tress. Well made and sturdy. Opinions always encouraged. Best, Bill BourqueAttached Files
