Bill, there is NO question at all of the authenticity of your tunic. Genuine! But, the fabric is far less encountered than twill and I am very surprised no one commented on it. This fabric is covered in my upcoming book. Stellar tunic!
Fine Zf14S Mark! Here is all the can for you.

I never believed it but I have a photo now with a man with this cuff from a collector friend on my pc. I ask him if I can post it.

Loops.
Very interesting DAK cuff title photo. Amazing how many variations existed.

Any DAK items
Hi,
Here's a nice 2nd pattern DAK tunic with early DAK Pio. e.m.'s & loops for three awards. (EKI, combat award and wound badge - judging by their placement.) I found some nice, early & faded Pio. e.m.'s boards to go with it. Also, got a nice, faded pair of 43' dated straight leg pants for display. The pants have extra material at shin or tropical boot top level. Looks great!
I recently had the tunic cleaned a it was very dusty and I believe that dirt contributes to the fabric's decay. Am having all DAK fabrics cleaned for preservation sake.
Enjoy the photos.
