          Bernhard,
You could well be right - DMN - Unterscharr includes these three initials in his list, but doesn't have any information at all, so if you have any further information I'd be most grateful. Regards

                My fellow collectors ,

Not too long ago I got me a new "tool" to further investigate about
the possible makers of our beloved german fieldgear.

The "tool" is the complete volume of the "Deutsche Telefonbuch" from
                1942 on DVD.
In the printed version these books are impossible to find , and -if-available
                would cost us a fortune.

These DVD really is worth it´s price and gave me a lot of information.
There are millions of entries and very important there are also the
"yellow pages" of course where we can find many firms that were producing fieldgear.

There are also some really odd entries as for example in the Auschwitz
phone book the number of the Camp´s commander Rudolf Hoess...

For your information now some pics that should show how these makers
presented themselves in the yellow pages in 1942 !

And ...if you need something for your collection...just give them a call

last ones : OHW and a list of Lüdenscheid makers.

I also have searched all the Stahlhelm makers and many producers
                      of chinstraps as well.
There ia also a list with firms that produced "Abziehbilder" (decals)
                      that could be further investigated.

                      Best regards

                      Bernhard

candidate for the AEM.A maker :

                            Annweiler Email-u.Metall-Werke , Annweil

Here is the Telefonbuch entry !

I just found some more details on the Annweiler Werke.
See here ....the army contracts reached up to 60% during the
                              war.
