hello all
Whats a fair market on the canteen/Cup? Also how rare is it?

It is very rare cup. I would said that canteen with thi cup is worth someting between 100-150 euro.

Yesterday I got another canteen with very strange cup, the right on the pictures. First of all it's unmarked. It's made of thinner material then others, thus lighter.

The other difference is that it has it's edge not rolled back as the other two

And last but not least it has an extra feature, which I don't know how to call in English, hope you get my point

Everything tells me it's post war, but I'd like to get some second opinions.

Canteens.

Here are 2 of my examples.

On the left we have an ESB40 & on the right a HRE45.

the HRE45 cup has a non rolled lip and for the most part the lip is unfinished it has a sharp edge and looks like it just came out of the press and that's it no finishing etc.....& it quite thick as compared with the ESB40.

You are right. This is Papa Smurf. I have found RB Number on leather strap. It is hard to read precisely whole number but it looks like 0/0560/0156.

Hi guys! I stopped collecting some time ago but today I went through stuff I had left. Maybe you have an opinion or more info about it.
The canteen is an ESB 44 green finish, cup is AEM.A 43. The cloth no stamps, the strap looks like it says R.L.M. and something that looks like a name.
Any ideas?

I also have the big version of the Feldflasche with lots of straps! I always thought it was Swiss or something but it could be German after all, It's stamped C&C.W 37 I believe. I will post a photo later, have to look for it.

RLM is probably civil aviation ministry and hasn't much to do with Luftwaffe. I cannot even read if it't R or something else in the place of first letter.
