Good luck!

90th Division and German Camouflage
Years ago I picked up a load of unissued SS and Army Camouflage items from a 90th Division veteran in Minnesota. He got it all in the captured Salt Mines were the Germans stored alot of these things, he sent it all home to use for deer hunting after the war. Lucky that he never got around to using the items.

Today what I think is the last bit of material from this vet's group has arrived.
I have no idea what the hand-painted shield is on the Q62 M40 helmet, and the M-16 camo is a really nice complete example. The flare gun has a little surface rust on the other side, but I 'm going to tuck it in the belt of the smock so it should look ok.
Thanks again to all who've come on and commented and I look forward to seeing many of you at the SOS.
Regards!

Hi Bill,
Appreciate the comment on the camo and yes, the general consensus among a couple of my other friends who have seen the M40 earlier this evening were foreign volunteer as well.
So the question is - what countries had colors like this (Latvia, Austria, Croatia, ???). I know the shields for the Latvians and Croatians looked different than this. I'm not saying it's one of them, just throwing some thoughts out there.
Regards!
