I now have this one in hand and I'll see if I can take some detailed photos to post - the SS Panzer Commander in particular has some very good detail to him that you can't see in this photo.

Congrats, Tony, on this fantastic addition to your already great poster collection. This one is just superb and surely it was only one-time-in-lifetime chance to acquire and you did not miss it Thank you for sharing

          Thanks.

I agree these are not exactly popping up every day, and I will be lucky to see another one before I snuff it .

That's an odd print of Himmler with all that orange on him.

Looks like a 1960's psychedelic acid trip - it's freaky man.....

A bit more detail from the French Panzer poster.

The poster ChrisK posted can also be realized as Himmler looking into a big fire.

As we all know fire was ideologically very important - and highly appreciated.

Just have in mind the oil painting depicting the Waffen-SS member in the fire of the battle residing in West Point.

I would like some opinions on this one, I am quite confident and have this one on hold.

This one i had discussions a lot of times. There is something wrong on the right upper top,the adler doesn't have a swastika, while the dutch version i'm 100% positive does have it!Almost all the posters of this versions i've seen are not folded as well...Maybe a mispress and never used could be the only reason that it could be original.I shall make a photo of a 100% ok one!

Yes, these ones with the screen printed look and washed out water-colours seem to have a more sketchy look to them - whereas the German ones on Postcards etc... are far more detailed and clean looking.

Would be great to get Harm and Tony's opinions as well and any of the other Dutch SS collectors as well.

                          Much appreciate all opinions.

Here the pic of a 100% original onefrom famous book De Roos:

Poster is all the same except the right upper corner, like i said. The ones i saw for sale where all not folded (can happen ofcourse) and didn't have the swastika. Can mean two thinks:1 Period misprint. 2. After war reprint...

I see what you mean, like the printing has smudged and dragged at the top right hand corner...

I remember another one of these was available on E-Stand over 6 months ago (in far worse condition) although i cannot recall if it also had the smudged adler.

Is there any way of telling for certain?

                              UPDATE/////

I just did a bit of searching, and found another one with the smudged Adler located @ http://www.warmuseums.nl/gal/057gal.htm (see bottow left corner of photos).

Apparently this one is located at the museum at Poteau.

And this one looks like it is the same as well, it has been folded also..... although its been through a meat-grinder
