I wish there was a more detailed shot of this one as it appears to have a similar eagle, although this one is printed alot darker and cleaner like you would expect of the originals.

Still not looking good for the one I found, although if anyone has any evidence to the contrary. It seems there are a few too many of these around.

I own one of the other type with the smeared Swastika, which, quite frankly, I don't like. Didn't pay much for it though. That's why you don't see it on my website......

This one in the book, which has the same artwork as the German version is really the only one I have confidence in. At least at this point.

Anyone have a period photo of the "dodgy" one?

Yes, the one I have seen is not that much either. Which was the first alarm bell.

As we all know fire was ideologically very important - and highly appreciated.

Just have in mind the oil painting depicting the Waffen-SS member in the fire of the battle residing in West Point.
Thorsten you could very well be right.

However it does have a very 1960's "pop art" look.

Plus the fact that it is overpainted on a halftone print, looks like it might be someone exercising their amateur painting skills.

I am about to purchase these two posters, although I would like to get some feedback as to their authenticity.

I am pretty much certain on them both, but thought it best to get some other opinions.

            Cheers.

I was quite sure myself, but then it is always good to have another opinion.

                            Hello Harm,
a really nice poster. The first one I´ve seen for the "20th Waffen Grenadier Division of the SS" (if my eyes see it right).

                            Regards,
                            Dagaz

His head is disproportionately large when compared to his torso.

His mother must of had a hell of a time during labour.
