More posters related to SS in Norway - pictures from the collection of a very good friend of mine.

First is a poster with the title "Vi seirer - Bli med Den norske Legions Skiløperbataljon" - translated roughly to "We are victorious - Join the Schijäger-Battalion of the Norwegian Legion".

This poster was made by the norwegian artist Birger Cranner - he was by the way a famous illustrator known also from drawings made when he was attached to the Norwegian Legion fighting on the outskirts of Leningrad 1942-43.

The poster was produced in 1941 in a total of 50 000 ex, but are very seldom seen today.

On behalf of a very good friend of mine - Here's another great poster for you

This time depicting the SS Championship of the Germanic SS Norge, which was arranged at Bislet Stadium August 14. 1943. It was held at the same time as the SS Rally August 14.-15. 1943 (shown earlier in this thread).

The poster was produced ONLY in 1000 ex, and made by the well known and appraised artist Harald Damsleth.

And here's another great poster for you - also this time on behalf of my very good friend

The poster says "Innsats for Norge - Støtt Frontkjemperkontoret" which roughly translates to something like "Fighting for Norway - Support the frontfighter office".

The poster was produced in 1943 in 10.000 ex; and was made by the artist Kåre Sørum.

Any Belgian W-SS poster collectors care to give their opinion on this one...?

Its been offered to me again as the previous buyer fell out.

Again I think the flash has made the text look more white than the yellowish colour that I am use to seeing on these ones.

Also what is a fair market rate for this if original? Your opinions are very much appreciated.

I would guess $1200 to $1500. There seems to be quite a few of these around judging from the number of collectors I've had ask to me check their ones over. But it still depends on buyer and seller of course and what deal you can hash out.
