Hi,

this is infact a touchy subject : Loïc and I are known to contact sellers/auction houses to have fakes removed, and i did that for this poster one year ago.
But the two guys who placed some orders still wanted the (fake) poster, even if i visited the auction house with an original and my own fake to prove my point.
They asked the auction house to not remove the poster...

I wish i could collect them... I only have a few ones, the original and fake H'O'CH and the "Volontaires germaniques" one. SS posters are too expensive, especially french ones...

Yes, see what all you guys have done to the market - poor Vince and Loic can't afford them and neither can I.

I have the solution. If you would all sell us your collections for $100 and move into collecting Barbie Dolls, then us poor people could collect them......

fortunately for me, no i'm not collecting Barbie dolls. But i knew one girl who was collecting them. High prices, high shipping costs, and the boxes are taking a lot of space... The only "Barbie" i have is "Alfred", my Dragon Figure.



Some WAFers know that i'm still collecting CDs, fortunately the highest prices i paid were for some japanese Nirvana pressings... But like for the SS-Leithefte / SS-Hauptamt booklets, CDs are not taking a lot of space.
On another hands, i recently checked the music posters i bought in the 90's, i didn't remember i had soooo many.

Like mostly every other SS item, I arrived late in the game to poster collecting. Considering there are so few surviving examples of many of these, it's likely the prices are just catching up to other SS related areas. You can still get more of the common posters for a reasonable price, I think, but the rare (and quality) ones are pricey, much like most rare SS items.

2 copies of the danish SS leaflets, 2 variants/copies of the "Flinke Kerels Voor !" leaflet (NL) and one of my copies of "De Waffen-SS Roept U" booklet (NL).

Is it paper or a canvas type material as it seems to have metal eyelets for tying the banner down...?
