    Hi,

your poster is a fantastic example from Bocasile's genius.
    this is the translation:

"Enlist in the Italian SS Legion

Italy ('s honor) can only be redeemed in arms"

It refers to the fact that after the September 8th armistice
those loyal to the Duce and to the pact of alliance with the Germans saw the rest of Italian troops that stood by the King's side and fought with the Allies against the Salo "repubblichini" and the Germans as traitors and bringing shame to Italy for their betrayal.

Boccasile had a thing for 'Popeye' size arms on his works...

OMG - so if you're 20 that makes her 12......

As an owner of that very rare Anton LAH, I'll be curious to see what it goes for.

And I thought you would be "no limits" bidding on these .......

I wonder if the paste on strip makes it less valuable since they have the starting bid at only 500 euros. Or maybe they are not sure if it's authentic.....

LAH poster looks okay to me, not sure about the strip, if it was added after. The strip doesn't look as 'old' as the poster, but to me it wouldn't make a lot of sense to add it later.

If you bid on and win the Bocasille poster you'll have two out of his three SS posters.

I'm not sure on the strip either. It certainly does not look as old as the poster but then it depends on the paper used which might be better quality than the crap paper the poster is on.

Did you pick up one too... There are more about than I thought...

The French version seems quite common.

I purchased from Fred F. here on the WAF a couple years ago. I haven't seen another LAH since.
