SS bruyere- pfeifen

We all know SS men received corn/potato/nacho chips as part of their rations and needed a way to keep them fresh -- especially in humid climates like Italy. This is the Himmler Honor chip clip. I got it directly from a flea market in Mexico. Don't even try to tell me it's not real. Why would someone fake something like this?

Ive never understood why these threads by unknowns to this forum, who just appear and post something so oddball ,get the reactions they do lasting for days and days fogging up the top ten threads. But when someone posts a really nice set of tabs or a tunic the thread dies off after a couple days.
Real or not what a waste of energy...just like the Hitler butterfly knives and the swastika poker chips.

Back to the box on page one.., I think the seal should go all around the box and not only a short strip on the lid..
Seals are invented to seal something, no ?

and yes, pipes all over the place, SS, Heer, Luftwaffe/pilot.., didn't see any Navy yet ..

We can rest assured that all tobacco pipes that may have surfaced are fake because there are too many of them around and the SS was too PC to officially condone smoking.
