              Got my hands on this pair of 6x30s but the seller didnt know if it was a wehrmacht issued pair. Can anubody help me with more information on them? There are no stamps on any of the leather.

                Part of a lot of 7000, with a Zeiss order date 25-12-1933.
                The serial range ends at 1623850, so this one was one of the last of the 7000.
                H/6400 referring to the lines that should be visible in the right side.

                Definitely Wehrmacht heer.

                  There certainly is a line for measurement in the right side. Is it true that the + means it has been open and re greased for cold weather?

                    Correct.

                    + Vakuumfett 1442, Works down to minus 40 Degree C.
                    Marking was used after August 6th 1942, so yes, later added to this binocular.

                      Have you ever seen the manufacturer code "c l d" ???
                      cld - MAG, Maschinenfabrik Geislingen-Steige, Werk der Schnellpressenfabrik AG Heidelberg.

                      I never read that this factory ever made optics .........
