Based on an earlier thread and a reminder via PM, let's do a comprehensive thread on 6X30s and see some variations. I'll start with a complete set of black ones.

- is the buttonflap stamped ?
- is the bakelite "Augenschutz" stamped ??

Nothing on the strap and bakelite protector. Will keep looking though. Here is what is on the button flap. Looks like a "1942" on the left and a 3-digit code on the right. Can't make the code out though.

Bakelite cases. I think one is marked and dated 1944.

Who has a bakelite pair of 6X30's? The ones with ordance tan fittings. I may see a pair next weekend, have been always wanting one.
