They're a French pair of goggles, also used by motor drivers and pilots etc..
I've edited some of your pics out to prevent people from scrolling from left to right all the way..
Better to post them one by one by using a new "reply"
Here's a shot of a luft member wearing the pair in question.

Wonderful set, Jim. I should have picked one up when I had the chance.

                              Hello.
I have a small 2-cycle engine that someone told me that it was Luft. It has a water tight spark plug that is magneto driven, a fold-up hand crank, top-mounted gas tank with a measuring cup for oil/fuel mix in the filler, and a small brass oiler bottle mounted on the engine case via leather pouch. Its a very compact and well-made engine mfg by Audi. I don't have pic ability, but was hoping that someone might know what this unit is.
                              Any help would be appreciated.
                              Billy

Sounds like a agregator to produce electicity ?
If so, these were used in the field and by aircrew as well..
