Very nice ME109 panel Larry, painted in sand yellow (sandgelb)

Here's mine that was sandgelb but then overpainted in green by hand. (I guess they couldn't be bothered to mask it for spraying)
Pretty typical for an ME109 operating over Tunisia in 1943.

Note the bullet hole. Not sure of the calibre.

Hi all,

May not be quite the right thread, however I have been offered a JU87 control column, but have no idea what to offer for it, could the forum give an estimate.
Complete with all switches and covers.

Here is a fabric section I just picked up yesterday. I have it posted in a thread asking for help identifying it. Despite the writing on it, I guess it is from a Storch. Piece is 23"x19".

Fieseler Storch is my best guess.

Color pattern is the same as found on many Storch’s.
Rib ties on the back are horizontal, same as on a Storch and the spacing of them looks correct.
Size is correct for a Storch.

Nice piece, and one to be very proud of.

Just found this on a UK dealers website. I'm not at all sure about those '303 bullet holes'. It all seems rather too neat?

War time factory photo of a ME-110 rudder on display at the....
Republic Aviation Corp. in Evansville, Indiana USA.
This is the factory that built the P-47 Thunderbolt.

I wonder what ever happen to this after the war, maybe someone in Evansville still has it

Wow, they plastered that poor ME110! Took brave men to fly those in combat.

That panel that jcmilitaria sold is a POS.

To be accurate, the part pictured is the vertical stabilizer which is made of aluminum. The rudder would attach to this and would have been cloth covered. Guessing from the camouflage, possibly from North Africa.

The bullet holes and damage look like they came from the vertical stabilizer being used as a target on the ground, and then someone attempted to cut the swastika out.
