    On 29/7/1942, Uffz. Hanniger has recieved his IC 2nd. Here is my manikin likeness wearing the blue windbreaker, double fuzes and IC. The straps are not part of the jacket only resting on the shoulders. Best, Bill

        Hi All

        First assembly for that Nco fighter pilot from JG2/Dieppe 1942.

        Glasses to change for Nitsche & Günther splinter proof goggles.
        B2 vest dated 41 will be added next week with Kadlec AK39 compass which will be moved on it.
        (2nd shotting will be post)
        ...waiting to find one day a blue zipped light jacket to match the period picture.

                    "Fritz" is ready!

                    Found the last main item for my 1944 fighter pilot figure "Fritz" (). You can see it (or better catch a glimpse of it) in the left pocket of his channel trousers:







                    A signal pistol. Was difficult to get a deactivated one, as signal pistols are regarded as full weapons in Germany ...

                                Hello, all great pieces. This is an excellent book on JG 26. Many late war heavy leather flight gear items. I have always like this pic as it shows Obfw. Fritz Ungar, dated 18 March 1945. He is wearing his private bought, tight classic front zip flight jacket with an IC and he is resting back on his elect heated issued leather flight jacket with rank shoulder strap. Doubtful he would wear both in the cockpit but who knows. Best, Bill Bourque
