Kirk, thats a beauty. Great ink stamp Motor-sturm unit in there. I wish mine was so readable still. The sweat at the brow of the liner shows its use but the condition is great with no damage. A question I have about these 1st pattern helmets/eagles: some are brass like mine and some either aluminum or nickle silver looking. Also the unmobile swastika as on the one a few pages ago compared to the the tilted swastika. I assume earlier model with the unmobile? Any other reasons for different finishes on the eagle? I want a second pattern!!

                Landy And Kirk-
Nice Items! The Front Plate National Emblems Found In Brass Are Definitely Motor S A. T He Brass Plate Was To Match The Button Color On The Uniform.
The Kepi Shown In Post 176 Is A Current Reproduction. The 1936 Pattern Kepi Should Have The 1936 Pattern N S K K National Emblem, Which Is Mounted On All Of The Other Kepis Shown In This Thread. The 1929 Pattern Metal Eagle Was Abolished With The 1936 Uniform. I Have Seen A Couple Of These. They Also Have Reproduction White R Z M Tags Inside. By 1935, The Brown Tag Was In Use. Also, Note The Materials Used And Compare Them To Anyone Of The Kepis In This Thread.

That M-34 civic helmet with NSKK decal is fantastic Guymauve. I have never seen one before. Any chance to get more shots of the decal side(sharper )inside liner and the other angles? Interesting color too. Thanks for posting it. Landy
