      Hi all,

Paul was correct , its from the Lynx or Luchs Panzer II Ausf L
only 100 of these "midget tigers" were made and sofar I have only seen 4 such roadwheels for sale ...2 got a new owner at Beltring years ago and two others were brought to me

These parts was found by a my friend in the small town of Ceprano, Italy, 30km north of Cassino. Parts are in a local farm and the old farmer told him that was parts of a german panzer (Marder?). The crew was usually in his farm for lunch and for wash cloth.
After the end of the battle for the Hitler Line, the crew posing a charge into the panzer before to left the area (maybe was out of order).
For some time after the war, one of the crew member had wrote to this italian family.
Parts are now in the house of my friend.

                                Hello,
What an amazing thread is this. I really like seeing all the parts.

I found this hatch of a Sturmgeschütz 40 G. (please correct me if I'm wrong about it's type) The strap should be added by the crew.

Since it was quiet big for the limited space I have, I left it in the forest. I recently changed my mind, and I'll retreive and restore it in a few weeks.
