here is my new brooch. Also a period ad where it is seen.

In the period ad, you can see it in the top left corner.

                  another pic on ebay

DMV's photo showed up on ebay being sold by ebay user "rand-feuer" but soon after posting was taken down. i cannot get a bigger pic at this time because the listing was removed...I had to take this pic off my viewed items to show it was on ebay.

Not sure if it was faked or if there are more originals out there. DMV told me that he had not put it up for sale!

And now for sale already? This topic sure appears to have driven up the value a lot!!!!!

Makes me wonder if i should start making a few dozen (or hundreds?) topics about my brooches and photo's and then sell

Already? Had it for 6 months, but can sell my property whenever.
And if you had noticed, my photo wasn't bought from the seller posted by Capt. R (could be a duplicate, fake or original) and thus wasn't the price I payed! (and even if...)
And yes, these items have gained interest recently by quite a few members...

My topics were not "sale" topics, but feel free, will watch with interest
Would love to see more photo's, discussion etc!

Am i glad i DIDN'T buy this last one, i had it in my ebay watchfolder but wasn't at home when it ended and had forgotten about it, appearantly this did save me the same fiasco as a few posts back. So i suppose from now on it's save to say that WAF members better don't buy any broochphoto's anymore from ebay as you will show them all here?

Any ideas regarding this old hanger?
                            Two initials and a Wolfshook?

well no idea on H and N. The symbol is of course, the wolfshook rune on its side which in Nazi world was the special rune tab for Hess if I remember correctly ...and was the Nazi symbol sometimes for death...at a funeral. It is known as the Opfer rune of sacrifice.
At lasp gasp of WWII it was the symbol of the Werewolf terrorist groups. Doubt it is from that as no utilitarian use.
Finally this can be pre 1933....from the Volkisch bewegnung of rune popularity...in fact those times more often had initials meaning something to them.
