                      The sarcophagi lids, created by Professor Heinlein, were made out of iron with a special rustproofing. Heinlein is at the lower left.

                          Article in the 14 November 1935 edition of Illustrierter Beobachter showing the memorial service at the Mahnmal and the funeral procession of the fallen of November 9. This started at the Mahnmahl and wound its way to the Ehrentempel in the Konigsplatz.
