One of my favorite cities, and not only because it was the Hauptstadt der Bewegung. I hope you were able to get into/onto the FHH at some point, or was it blocked off for the time you were there? Erich

Thanks, Erich and everyone else, for posting the photos of the FHH and other München sites. I haven't been able to visit there in about 10 years.

My two boys were 8 and 12 when we last were at the FHH, and the aspect that most interested them was the size of the lions' bollocks!

Hi Erich, yes,I was able to climb the steps and walk around the FHH before the barricades went up. And yes I ate a lot of Wurst too!

That's a great photo of the FHH with not many people around. It's still on my to-do list to get one nice clear shot of the FHH. I'm going back this weekend. Hopefully, I could wake up really early this time to get one.

I am intending to make a trip to Munich.
Is Munich far from Wewelsburg? And how can i get to the castle to Munich? Or would it be better to visit the castle first and to Munich next?

I am flying in from England.

Munich is not near Wewelsburg so a train is probably necessary. Great pics Rob, it seems that the FHH is used a lot for classical concerts and the Koenigsplatz for pop concerts.
