Erich, that looks like Alfred Rosenberg to me. Looks more like an intellectual than a guy like Ludecke who went at the crowd. This is a Rosenberg photo from from the net.



And the more I look at that picture in Das Braune Heer, I am struck by that figure on the right. I am sure that Hoffmann added that face to conceal someone. It is uncomfortable to see the oversized face staring in a direction at right angle to everyone else.

I agree that #2 in the last photo is Rosenberg. If I remember correctly -- which isn't always the case! -- I believe he had been identified as Rosenberg in the original discussion of this photo.

I also notice the oddly-positioned face of the person at the far left of the photo and I seem to recall that that was also discussed previously...?

Very interesting, but perhaps better seen with the Putsch/Feldherrnhalle thread? I loved the view of the man wearing the BO, GPB and 9.11.33 Festabzeichen. Did anyone note the time it appeared in the movie. It appears at 4:21.

Ulrich sold his GPB small a few years ago and Craig Gottlieb his large one recently. Came from a French collection I believe?

Thanks for reminding us of that photo, Erich. Looking closely at the Blood Banner...which I assume he's holding...there seems to be a section of needlework repair just below the white disc. A great detail!
