Probably not representative, due to controversy. But the higher, the better !

Whatever price it sold for, it would not be as much as an unaltered 1st pattern IMO. The last one that I had seen sold at auction was a 1st pattern sold by HH a few years ago for 7800 Euros + fees but that to a Russian who really had to have it!

The only other that has come up as of late was a 2nd pattern that I mentioned earlier in the thread that was for sale for 8500 at the SOS but I don't know if it ever sold.

Thanks Erich for clearing up the purpose of the ring attachment on the reverse of the badge in question.

          Erich

Even this corroded ground dug CB shows better details.

Been looking for one, but would go for a textbook piece.

Agree. He's trying to make 100%, let's hope it's going to collect some dust .... Or if it sells, that'd be good news for those who have one already.

                        Was it consigned to Weitze?

                          Hi,

I thought I would bump up this thread if anyone has new info on Coburg badges (or this ring type). Many of you would know that I've been looking for a Coburg badge and I'm still searching. tough luck!
