This fantastic one of kind window sold at auction today for 8000.00 including fees. Although not to me, it went to another good home. Congrats to the buyer on a unique piece of history!
Yes, I saw it, too, in the Alexander catalog. it's certainly a beautiful piece and I'm glad that it's gone to a good home! I seem to recall that ErichS has shown an example of this colorful piece, in the form of a post card?

No, there is only one window and the photo that I posted of it in the past I had in my file for years. This window was a vet bring back and he has since died and hence it going to auction.
My friend Kris Lindblom of Third Reich Arts was the lucky buyer.
The piece did not sell at the auction. There was an error in allowing not a full raising bid and a buyer was shut out by computer. Whatever the true story, the window will be on a future auction at this firm. It was confirmed in conversation with a member of the company at the SOS.

He thought that he won it but that's how it goes somtimes and I'm sure that he'll try again at the next auction.
On a different note, a friend at the SOS saw two original CBs which was two more than I saw at the last MAX.
A 2nd pattern badge was for sale for 8500.00 and another, possibly a 1st pattern that was not for sale but was part of a display along with a 1st pattern BO.
