The RZM one was offered by a German dealer and it has since been sold.

Both I saw offered by smaller dealers, sorry do not know their names.
A coburg plate sold at auction yesterday, in a mixed lot (not more than a few hundred value) for over €3500 plus commission.

Does anyone know the names of the small dealers? Feel free to PM me.
          Thank you.

          Kind regards

                  Coburg Postcard and Photograph

                  Recently obtained these -

What does the inscription say on the back of the photograph?

                  Thanks

Very interesting, Spencer. Is there any perceived connection between the post card bearing the Coburg philatelic cancellations and the photograph?

You might find a better response if you posted your note on the Photos and Paper Items Forum, under the pinned thread titled: "Post your "translation needed" here."

                    Cheers,

                        Hi,

Can't make it out completely but it says something like this:

''The entrance into the office of the Coburger national zeitung''
                        (adress?)

                        1931 Original plate
                        (RR)
                        Is added

Was this part of the lot that auctioned off recently in Germany. It contained several books and the plate. Was outbid on that sadly

                        Etienne

Schwede-Coburg's book, "Kampf um Coburg," was published by Franz Eher at least three times, in 1939, 1941 and 1943. Were there other editions of this book, and was each edition different in some way from the other editions, or were they all essentially the same content?
